CIRCLE Group lancia NEXT Customs: servizi digitali per l'ottimizzazione doganale.

Circle S.p.A. ("CIRCLE" or the "Company") - an innovative SME listed on the Euronext Growth Milan market and leading the Circle Group specialized in process analysis and development of solutions for innovation and digitalization in the port and intermodal logistics sectors, as well as international consulting on Green Deal and energy transition issues - announces the establishment of the Italian company NEXT Customs S.p.A.
dedicated to digital customs optimization services. The newly established company, with a share capital of ?10,000, is 51% owned by CIRCLE and managed by Luca Abatello. Luca Abatello, President & CEO of Circle Group, explains the decision to further focus on the development of innovative customs services through the NewCo: "We believe that customs is a strategically important issue for the evolution of the Connect 4 Agile Growth path, and we perceive a strong market demand for innovative services that can provide a comprehensive and harmonized view of new regulatory scenarios, both at national and European level.

This is why we have decided to bring together the expertise acquired by the Group with NEXT Freight (formerly Adele Project), within Circle S.p.A., as well as through the four 'Italian and European first-borns' of S.U.DO.CO. ('Single Customs and Control Desk'), starting with the port of La Spezia - CUS of Santo Stefano Magra, the international inter-European corridors (in Austria) and extra-European corridors (to and from Egypt, as recently announced), and Air Fast Transfer (primarily at Malpensa airport), in the further initiative dedicated to NEXT Customs." The newly established company aims to continue initiatives aimed at harmonizing customs processes, ensuring a more efficient, fast, and streamlined transport and logistics flow, in compliance with current customs regulations (and the further simplifications being approved), as well as a forward-looking approach to the proposed reform of the European Customs Code currently under discussion, including the new CBAM (Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism) regulation.
